Wally, a girl from a humble home in Neulengbach, worked as a model for Klimt with only 15 years of age. Klimt recommended her to Egon Schiele who lived with Wally from 1911-1915. Schiele then married Edith and Wally was very upset over the break and started to work for the Red Cross. In 1916 she posed one last time for Klimt. She died 1917 near Split from scarlet.
